About: Indira Gandhi Open University stands prestigiously among so many open universities in the country. IGNOU invites admission online from many students and servicemen too who are willing to pursue higher education for the sake of their promotion. Registration is to be done online and it is one time for every candidates. The steps for filling up the application form are to be uploaded online. No other mode of submission will be accepted.

Admission process: IGNOU admission through IGNOU Online Admission 2017-18 official portal could be done through proper method. Candidates have to put in the proper details failing which the University holds the right to reject the application. Only one application against one discipline can be opted. The fees subscription is also online therefore the candidates have to upload the fees through online payment mode or taking the challan of the respective bank.

In case the candidate fails to apply through the online admission portal then he/she has t wait for the next session strictly. Scanned copies of all certificates with age proof should be submitted at the IGNOU Counter of the centre chosen by the candidate. Payment can be processed through Net Banking or ATM Card can also be accepted.  Click on the LOGIN Button that connects the online page of the admission system.

The personal detail needs to be filled up completely with the proper specification demanded by the University. Scanned copies of the educational qualification must not exceed 400 KB, scanned copies of the age proof; Signature of the candidate should also be within 100KB but must not exceed the limit. Candidates who hold BPL Certificate or are below the poverty line must upload their BPL Certificate that should not be less than 400 KB.

ST/SC/OBC A/OBC B candidates must upload their caste certificate scanning it within 400 KB. Relevant details required for the admission should be uploaded accordingly. After the successful payment procedure will be completed, Candidates will be able to access the official website and the student’s zone under the IGNOU online admission.

Once the documents are uploaded, click on the NEXT Button to get the preview of the form. The applicants can best view the application form in the current version of the computer that supports Firefox, Chrome, at the resolution of 1024X768 on the screen and even higher at times. Before filling up the forms of the respective criteria, candidates are suggested to read the general instruction slot carefully.

Admission related work and programs are all uploaded in the IGNOU official website stating the admission process, eligibility criteria, duration f the curse and so on. In case there remains any query, candidates hold the authority to contact the student service centre running under the university and clear the doubts.

 The helpline numbers and the email assistance have been already uploaded for support and query from the applicants.
