·        He or she may need to fill out a questionnaire about the experience, the nature of products he or she bought, the attitudes of the employees’, the time taken on the queue, the product cost and on other specific things as directed by the research company
·        He or she may have to take pictures of the actual products.

The mystery shopping is very known and legitimate profession for the people who wants to earn some extra money. Usually, there are legitimate market research companies who advertise for mystery shoppers or interested candidates can contact them as well. They will select the suitable candidates and train them accordingly. The tips they give are to be followed strictly.
